Returns Policy
Thank you for shopping with us. Please note that we have a strict no returns or refunds policy, with the exception of special cases, such as defective products or errors made on our end. All items and shipments are at the Purchaser's, Donators, and/or Trade-in persons risk and we (Shop or Trade Thrifting), are not responsible for any lost, stolen, misplaced or damaged products. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you have an item that you wish to return or get a refund on, please contact us at 1- , or email us at stthrifting@gmail.com.
You will need to provide your receipt, along with a picture of the item in question, following with a description of the issue.
Please call or email us and wait for further instructions. For refunds or exchanges to be considered, we must be contacted within 14 days of purchase date, and the refund/exchange policy procedures must be met. So please contact us first. We are not responsible for any costs accrued from any refunds or exchanges that have not met or followed our policy procedures.
Trade-in Policy
At our store, we offer a convenient trade-in policy that allows customers to receive store credit in exchange for their new or gently used items. This helps reduce waste and allows customers to upgrade to new items at a discounted price. However, we must balance our desire to offer fair trade-in value with our own business costs and expenses. Therefore, we offer trade-in value at a lower price of what we sell the items for. We understand that this may not always seem like the best deal, but please know that the majority of the difference in value for trade-in items goes towards paying bills and maintenance expenses of our website and storefront. We always appreciate our customers trade-ins and look forward to helping you find new items you'll love.
Before sending items for trade-in, please email us at stthrifting@gmail.com, or call us at 1- . We will need pictures of your items, so we can agree to look over your items before a deal is made. Because we have a strict acceptance policy, we will need to go over items at our location before we can agree on accepting any items. We are not responsible for any costs accrued due to not following our trade-in policies.
Donation Policy
At our store, we gratefully accept donations of new and gently used items. We appreciate the generosity of our customers who wish to donate items they no longer need or want. However, we kindly ask that you contact us first before bringing in any items to ensure that we are able to accept them.
There are certain items that we are unable to accept due to laws, space constraints, and other reasons. We maintain a list of acceptable items, which you can find on our Acceptance Policy. By contacting us prior to sending items, you help us maintain a streamlined donation process and ensure that your donations benefit communities. Thank you for supporting our store and contributing to our mission of reducing waste, promoting sustainable living, and helping improve mental health by acts of kindness.
Acceptance Policy
We accept new and gently used items such as;
Clothing
Jewelry
Hair accessories
Household items
Decor
Pet items
Footwear
Accessories
On the other hand, there are many items that we do not accept. Including;
Heavy items
Easily breakable items
Used makeup and hygiene products
Weapons
Illegal items
These are just a few examples. If you are unsure about any items, please feel free to contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
However, please understand that some items are questionable, rather its on the list or not. So it's best to check with us before sending anything to us.
And please only send in items that are cleaned, not stained and have no unpleasant odors. You can email us at stthrifting@gmail.com or call us at 1-800 , and wait for further instructions. We will request a photo and description of your items. And nothing with be agreed upon until we are able to fully inspect everything.
Please be aware, that when trading in items, there is a processing time of 7-14 days, after we receive items. After the processing time, you will be contacted with the amount you will be given, in store credit.
We are not responsible for any costs accrued due to the lack of following procedures, any items that are lost, stolen, or damaged.
